Client Overview
A Series A healthcare startup targeting hospital administrators and clinical decision-makers for their patient management platform.
The Challenge
The client had tried LinkedIn Ads before but struggled with high CPLs ($120+) and poor lead quality. Most leads were irrelevant job seekers or vendors, not decision-makers.
My Approach
I built a precision-targeted LinkedIn Ads strategy focused on reaching the right people at the right stage:
Created Matched Audiences using the client's existing CRM data and website visitors
- Leveraged LinkedIn's job title, seniority, and industry filters to target VP-level and above at hospitals and health systems
- Developed a content funnel: Thought leadership articles (awareness) > Case study downloads (consideration) > Demo request forms (conversion)
- Tested Sponsored Content, Message Ads, and Lead Gen Forms to find the best-performing format
- Implemented A/B testing on ad copy, visuals, and CTAs across all campaign tiers
Results
Qualified Leads: 60/month to 200+/month
- Cost Per Lead: $120 to $45 (62.5% reduction)
- Lead-to-Meeting Rate: 8% to 22%
- Pipeline Value: $180K to $720K in 90 days
- Lead Quality Score: Improved by 65% (based on sales team feedback)
Tools Used
